The floating market on the canal was novel and fun. Likewise, I enjoyed the elephant ride, although some fellow tourists said it was unethical to treat elephants in this way. Overall, a very pleasant morning and good value for my money.
Well organised and informative guide. It was a change to visit preserved ruins and see the Thai countryside, as opposed to touring temples and Buddhas in the city. Plentiful food of good standard on board the boat cruise; a relaxing, novel way to sail back to Bangkok. Enjoyed the day thoroughly.
